How I Choose What Goes on This Site
I approach every product category the way I approached finding solutions for my mother: practically, skeptically, and with specific limitations of a senior in mind. Severe arthritis. Limited grip strength. Balance challenges. Declining vision and hearing. Living alone. Those aren’t abstract criteria — they’re real for most seniors!
Can someone with limited hand strength actually use this?
Not in ideal conditions — on a hard day, when hands are stiff and patience is thin.
Is it stable and genuinely safe?
I read the failure stories, not just the five-star reviews. Especially for mobility and fall prevention.
Can it be used independently?
Many seniors live alone. A product that requires help to set up or operate doesn’t make the cut.
